DIY · no EPA-608 Looking for a true DIY system?
Only 3 of these are genuine no-EPA-608, sealed pre-charged quick-connect systems a homeowner can install without a vacuum pump or refrigerant handling — all from MrCool's DIY line. "Pre-charged" standard-flare units (Senville, Pioneer, Cooper & Hunter) are commonly self-installed but still need proper flaring/evacuation, so we label them pro-recommended, not clean DIY. Everything else is EPA-608 pro-install only.
